Miss Brodie holds a Bachelor of Science in Middle Level Math and English Education from Grove City College. With a strong passion for both language and numbers, she is excited to guide students in developing their problem-solving and communication skills in meaningful ways.
Her favorite subject has always been Math. She enjoys the challenge of working with numbers and solving problems—and was inspired to become a teacher by one of her own influential math teachers.
Miss Brodie’s favorite saint is St. Clare of Assisi, known for her deep devotion to simplicity, poverty, and humility. She especially admires St. Clare’s unwavering faith and finds inspiration in the miraculous moment when St. Clare, too ill to attend Mass, was able to see and hear it projected on the wall of her room. That moment earned St. Clare the title of patron saint of television.
In her free time, Miss Brodie enjoys crafting—especially scrapbooking—reading, shopping, and spending time outdoors. One of her favorite travel memories is from a two-week trip to Florida in 2021, filled with unforgettable experiences like Disney World, a softball tournament, a family wedding, and a visit to Everglades National Park. The highlight of the trip, however, was the quality time spent with her family and teammates.
Though this is her first year at Holy Family, Miss Brodie already feels right at home. Her favorite memory so far has been the back-to-school retreat, where she was warmly welcomed by the faculty and felt the strong sense of community and support that defines Holy Family.
