EXTENDED CARE
Holy Family Parish offers a before and after school program to registered students at Holy Family School. This program was created to give parents an alternative for before and/or after school care for their children.
The site for the Extended Hours Program is located in the Szabo Parish Center. It is familiar and comfortable for the children and spacious enough to allow freedom for the children to move about. The fold-out wall tables are utilized to organize activities, provide homework space and serve as a table for snack.
The morning program is designed to give students quiet time before school. This feature is great for parents who need to get off to work earlier than 8:00 AM in the morning. Students generally read books, play cards, construct puzzles or color. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to ease into their day. A small snack will be served.
The afternoon program is structured to give students the opportunity to complete their homework and enjoy some play time. A nutritious snack is served, and if the weather is permitting, the children will spend some time outside with playground activities.
