Mrs. Townsend studied Early Childhood Education at Walsh University, earning her Bachelor's degree in 2019. She is passionate about nurturing young learners and creating a classroom environment where children feel loved, supported, and inspired to grow.
Her favorite subject to teach is Art, as it allows students to express their creativity and discover the joy of making something beautiful.
A devout Catholic, Mrs. Townsend holds a special devotion to the Virgin Mary, admiring her humility and her faithful service to the Lord. Her faith plays an important role in her teaching and daily life.
One of her most cherished experiences was participating in a global learning program during college, which gave her the opportunity to spend six weeks in Rome. She treasures the memories she made exploring the city's rich history, stunning architecture, and of course—enjoying plenty of gelato!
In her free time, Mrs. Townsend enjoys reading, going on walks, listening to music, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Her favorite memory at Holy Family so far has been the Back to School Retreat Day, where she connected with fellow staff members and took time to reflect on her faith. She is grateful to be part of a faith-filled community dedicated to guiding students both academically and spiritually.
