Panther Parents Events and Programs

Mentor Program: New to the HFS Community? Our Mentor program pairs new families with experienced Holy Family families who are eager to offer guidance, answer questions, and provide support throughout your first year. This program helps foster meaningful connections, ease the transition into our school community, and build lasting relationships through special events and outreach.


Mums Sale: One of Panther Parents’ largest annual fundraisers, the Mums Sale offers beautiful fall mums to our school and surrounding community. Students participate by selling mums, with the top-selling class earning a pizza party. Volunteers assist with organizing, sorting, and distributing orders.


Basket Raffle: Our annual Spring Basket Raffle is a favorite community tradition. Each grade sponsors a themed basket, while volunteers collect donations, assemble baskets, organize displays, and assist with raffle ticket sales. Proceeds directly support Panther Parents’ programs and school initiatives. 


Christmas Shop: The Christmas Shop provides students with the opportunity to purchase affordable gifts for family and friends in a fun, festive environment. Volunteers help set up, staff the shop, and assist students with shopping throughout the week, making this a memorable holiday experience for everyone.


Grandpal's Day: Grandpal’s  Day celebrates the special people in our students’ lives by welcoming grandparents and honored guests to attend Mass and enjoy time at Holy Family School. Volunteers greet guests, provide directions, assist with hospitality, and help ensure the day runs smoothly.


Teacher Appreciation Week: This week is dedicated to recognizing the incredible commitment and dedication of our faculty and staff. Volunteers coordinate the themed week with meals, treats, and a small gift. 


McTeacher's Night: A fun-filled evening that brings together students, families, teachers, and staff outside the classroom. Teachers “serve” guests at McDonald’s while families enjoy dinner, fellowship, and school spirit. 


Uniform Swap: Held twice a year, the Uniform Swap provides families with an affordable  way to purchase or swap gently used school uniforms.


Special Events: Throughout the school year, Panther Parents sponsors a variety of special events designed to build school spirit and strengthen our community. One favorite tradition is the All American Extravaganza, formally known as the All American Pizza Lunch,where students enjoy a complimentary lunch, exciting activities, games and celebrations to conclude the school year.


Community Events: Panther Parents hosts several family friendly events throughout the year that encourage connections and school pride. Favorites such as Trunk or Treat, family socials, and seasonal gatherings provide opportunities for families to build friendships, create lasting memories, and strengthen our Holy Family community together.
