To ensure the safety and smooth arrival and dismissal of all students, please review our procedures for morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.

Car Arrival:

Cars arrive from Oak, Wetmore, and Sycamore Streets to the back parking lot to drop off children at the patio doors from 8:  AM - 8:25 AM.

• Please use turn signals.

• One lane is used. Please pull up to our volunteers and have your children exit through the right-side doors of your car. They can then safely walk into the building through the open patio doors.

• Please turn right when exiting the parking lot.  This is to keep the car flow continuous.

• Please use an abundance of caution when escorting your children to the back patio.

• Please follow all monitor instructions & procedures to ensure the safety of our students, faculty/staff & visitors.

• If parking your car in the Kent Road parking lot, you will need to walk your child(ren) to the back patio.  Please be mindful of those attending morning mass starting at 8:00 AM.  The handicap spaces are needed for those parishioners.

• Please do not park up against the building at arrival and dismissal because that is the bus lane.
  

Important:  Make sure all car doors are locked until you are ready to let your children exit the vehicle.

Car Dismissal:

The parking lot will not open for dismissal until 2:45 PM.

Cars entering the back parking lot after 2:45 PM are to park in an “Oval” formation.

- Parents, guardians, or designated drivers are to remain in their cars until all students have exited the school.

- When the “GO” sign is raised, you may come to the patio and retrieve your student.

- Please return to your vehicle promptly. 

- PLEASE-- do not congregate on the patio. It makes it difficult to connect parents with students. It will hold up the dismissal of all cars from the parking lot.

- All students need to be released by the grade-level teacher.

- All cars are loaded from 3:06 to 3:15.

- Cars that arrive after the parking lot has closed for dismissal will wait patiently on Oak Road until the outside lane (1st row) moves.  Please do not block Oak Road residents’ driveways.

Car movement for dismissal is ready when all students are in their cars about 3:15 PM.

- One loud whistle is given, and the outside lanes move.  The inside lane WILL exit by

- Wetmore and the outside lane WILL exit onto Sycamore, turning right only.

- Once cars begin moving, NO one should be walking through the parking lot!

- No one will be dismissed from the parking lot early. 

 As the large outside lanes move, cars that arrived after the parking lot closed will be flagged into the lot.  Please pull around slowly to the patio area to load your students.  This is only one lane.

We would like all parents to pull into the parking lot for dismissal.  If you are going to park on the streets around the school, please exit the parking lot quickly so we may begin releasing cars in the lot.  Please be cognizant of neighbors’ driveways.

Parents, please keep all dogs and other pets in your car! There are children who are afraid of animals, and we would like them to feel safe. 

Parents/Visitors should refrain from smoking on school premises at all times. 

Our campus is smoke-free at all times.
