Arrival & Dismissal Procedures

To ensure the safety and smooth arrival and dismissal of all students, please review our procedures for morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.

Morning Arrival – Car Drop-Off

• Cars may enter from Oak, Wetmore, or Sycamore Streets to the back parking lot between 8:00–8:25 AM.
• Please use turn signals and drive in one lane, pulling up to our volunteers.
• Students should exit the right side of the car and enter safely through the patio doors.
• Parents may not escort children inside; staff and volunteers will ensure a safe entry.
• Follow instructions from adult monitors at all times.
• Safety tip: Keep all car doors locked until you are ready for your child to exit.
• After drop-off, turn right when exiting the parking lot.

Afternoon Dismissal – Car Pick-Up

Arrival & Parking:

• Do not arrive before 2:40 PM.
• Cars arriving between 2:40–3:06 PM park in an oval formation.
• Students from the same family go to the lowest-grade student’s designated area.
• Remain in your car until monitors release your row.

Student Pickup:

• Teachers will release students at the designated cones.
• Parents should wear masks and return promptly to vehicles after pickup.
• Do not congregate on the patio.

Late Arrivals (after 3:06 PM):

• Form a line on Oak Road until directed into the parking lot.
• Do not block driveways.



Car Movement & Exit:

• A whistle system signals when cars should move:
• 3 short whistles: Car movement begins soon
• 1 long whistle: Lanes begin exiting
• Inside lane exits via Wetmore; outside lane exits via rectory.
• Students arriving after 3:06 will be loaded in one lane as directed.
• No pedestrians in the parking lot while cars are moving.

Doors open for student arrival: 8:00 AM

Tardy bell / Classes begin: 8:25–8:30 AM

Dismissal: 3:10 PM
