Favorite Saint: St. Cecilia who is the patron saint of musicians is closest to my heart. It wasn’t until recently that I really felt close to her, but as far back as I can remember I’ve had music in my heart and on my lips. I love to sing just as much as I love to create art!

Hobbies: Oil painting, long distance running, baking (especially cake) and currently singing baby shark with baby Nora.

Favorite Place Traveled To: Seattle is an amazing city! I’ve been there twice and there is always something new to see! It’s such a clean, green and creative city! Rome is on my bucket list!

Favorite School Subject: ART of course! I can remember Friday ‘Art Time’ when I was in first grade, it was the most exciting time in my week. I can remember coloring myself orange because that was the closest color I had to my skin in my crayon box! I would not be the person and teacher I am today without art in my life.

Describe Your Favorite Memory at Holy Family School: There are so many great memories at HF how can I pick one?! Meaningful and spiritual retreats, students who have shown me what compassion and faith is and just feeling a sense of family. I feel like I’ve grown up here even though I was 22 years old when I started! I think one of the best memories was the day the teachers and I performed “Born This Way” by Lady Gag for the students at the talent show one year. We all wore one thing we were born with written on our Shirts and then danced/sang a parody to Lady Gaga’s song. It was epic!
